In seiner ersten Ausstellung "Into the neon light" stellte sich das MalerinnenNetzWerk Berlin-Leipzig der Öffentlichkeit vor. Eines der zentralen Themen des Netzwerks ist die Frage, wie sich Malerei von Frauen besser positionieren lässt, in einem nach wie vor von Männern dominierten Feld. In diesem Sinne warf "Into the neon light" ein Schlaglicht auf das Werk der Malerinnen, out of the dark!

In it's first exhibition "Into the Neon Light" the Women Painters' Network Berlin-Leipzig announced itself to the public. One of the central themes of the network is the question of how women’s painting can be positioned better within a field still dominated by men. In this respect "Into the Neon Light" thrown a floodlight onto the work of the female painters, out of the dark!
